Sell a car online

If you've ever tried selling car privately you will know how time consuming it can be. You have to get your car looking good beforehand by means of a valeter or doing th job yourself.

Then you have the task of taking some photos and then choosing where you are going to advertise your car. The first place to look would be online, there are plenty of options to choose from nowadays and most will advertise your car for around a fortnight for a fixed fee.

But over the past few years there have been some websites appear that can offer you cash for your car and claim to make instant offers. Well this is a great way of selling if you want a quick sale and no hassle advertising private.

After writing this I came across another website www.sell-my-car-for.me it offers cash for cars and a quick sale but it can get more than 1 offer. It has a network of buyers that give you offers on your car and you basically accept the best price . Im going to give it a go and see if anybody wants to buy my car

Remember this site... I found it a great resource when I was trying to sell my car

Car Auctions

Car traders and dealers over the past few years have struggled to find their stock at the right prices. Prices had risen due to the recession and when the government introduced the scrappage scheme.

This made sourcing used vehicles a hard task and when they were found they were overpriced.
This would have a knock on effect to the public as they would now have to pay more for a used vehicle. This wasnt good as we were in the middle of a recession, so it also slowde down trade for the dealers and many went bust.

There were a few good things to appear from these bad years, It gave new websites like www.cartradermail.co.uk the chance to offer it use and gain trader approval. CTM is a website for trade only and its completely free to join, it is seen as a car auctions alternative and can supply traders with some very cheap vehicles without incurring any costs or fee's. It supplies around 70 vehicles a day to the trade, which come straight from the public and range from high end prestige to cheap runarounds.

It can be a great place to find vehicles for placing with a customer or trading out to a fellow trader. So if you are tight for stock then CTM can be a good alternative to car auctions or vehicle remaketing companies.
